Introduction 🇬🇧

Hello everybody and welcome. ‘Tales form the hideout’ is a new podcast that will recount the stories, unusual and adventurous, of the British agents belonging to the Special Operations Executive (SOE), sent in Italy to help the local Resistance during the Second World War. Thanks to the documents produced by the agents themselves, the podcast will try to tell their stories, recounting them throughout their eyes. I am Nicola, an almost-thirty-years-old history PhD, and I will be your narrator. The podcast will be in Italian, but an English subtitled version will be on YouTube. In addition, the English script of each episode will be available in the blog section of my website. It’s time to take your parachute and prepare for the jump!
